PK Lighting came out to do my lights soon after quoting me and me hiring them. They were timely and professional. I plan on telling my friends and family to use this company as well. They’re a tad cheaper than other lighting companies and surprisingly do a fantastic job. Parker is also great about answering any questions you may have. Something that other companies seem to be in a rush to do. Hire PK Lighting you won’t regret it!
Couldn’t be more pleased! I called PK to come out and install 300ft of govee lights on my house. He took time to explain and go over the entire process with my wife and I before starting. Very professional and a keen eye for detail. Thank you Parker.
I clearly communicated the scope of work to both customers and completed all tasks as agreed upon. In both cases, the clients later requested additional services that were outside the original agreement.
Gary was satisfied with the work at the time of completion and paid in person. However, he later filed a dispute with his bank, which was resolved in my favor. Afterward, he attempted to contact me again to request additional lighting installation beyond the original project.
Joone had previously installed his own lights and hired me solely to repair them, which I successfully completed. We agreed that, instead of monetary payment, he would provide me with a used box of lights he already owned. After the work was finished, he threatened to post negative reviews across multiple platforms unless I reinstalled all the lighting on his home at no additional cost.
Both individuals have acted dishonestly and attempted to take advantage of my small business despite my professionalism and adherence to our agreements.
We had a similar experience with PK Lighting aka PK Kitchen.
Mr. Parker should be a used car salesman because his promises does not mean a thing one he got paid.
I will update this comment to completion after my dispute for non performance of what we agreed on has been settled. But you are correct, Parker does not respond to take care of his mistakes, poor workmanships etc. as promised once he is paid.
Do not hire PK Lighting – They took my $750 light kit and never finished the job
I hired PK Lighting on September 26, 2024, to replace defective sections of my Govee exterior lights. The owner quoted a price for replacing two specific light strands.
On October 6, they arrived and only fixed some connector issues without replacing the defective strands as agreed. When I pointed this out, the owner said they’d return to finish. Instead of payment, he asked for my brand new 200-foot Govee replacement kit (worth $750) in exchange for a labor discount, promising to return in a few days.
That was the last time I saw him or my lights.
For three weeks, I called and texted with no response. Only when I threatened to post reviews on October 26 did he finally reply, claiming an “emergency.” He then tried to argue that the minimal work they did was worth the entire $750 kit. We eventually agreed he’d return to finish the job for the remaining cash payment.
He never came back. It’s now been over a month of ignored calls and messages.
The facts:
– They took my $750 light kit as partial payment
– Never completed the agreed-upon work
– Ignored all communication for weeks at a time
– Only responded when threatened with negative reviews
– Made promises they never kept
I’m now forced to buy another complete light set and hire a different contractor.
Save yourself the headache and hire someone else. PK Lighting lacks basic professionalism and integrity. I cannot recommend them to anyone.
